It was raining really hard!
JR and I were trying to rush to Misibis. We weren’t really late but the way we were going baka ma-late kami. We asked Pepperland Hotel where Misibis is and they pointed us to Hotel Venezia which was very fortunate coz apparently, you can’t just board the barge to Misibis Bay without a confirmation from Hotel Venezia.
Wait! I started panicking…we’re going to ride a barge?
I started getting nervous. It was raining and the last thing I wanted was to ride a barge!
The way to the wharf was very scenic. Saw so many nice photo ops but we were really almost late and I was really very nervous. I just wanted to get over the barge ride ASAP!
I was holding my wooden cross when we boarded the barge. I was cocooned inside our car with my blanket and pillows (I’m telling you, latex pillows are the bomb!) I started praying, di pa tapos my prayer we were there na…exaj pala ang reaction ko coz it was a 5min. ride lang!
There were more photo ops when we got to the island. It was really beautiful there with their solar powered light posts.
The resort itself is gorgeous but I was worried for the bride coz the rain was getting harder.
Then I saw the tent which Jo Claravall set-up for the wedding reception…my jaw dropped…Jo’s magical talaga!
It’s like the tent itself was not affected by the bad weather. It was so cozy! Even the temperature there was different.
It was soooooo pink….ahluvit!!!!!
I started taking photos, grabe everything was just exquisite! The flowers were gorgeous. I just wanted to capture everything!
Jo, ang galing mo talaga! Ahluvyah!
Sadly we couldn’t really stay long coz we had to go back to Albay pa…I got nervous again…the solar-powered light posts that we admired on our way to the resort were all dead! It was pitch-black parang I wouldn’t be surprised if we get attacked by an aswang!
Well obviously we made it back safely or I wouldn’t be blogging now.
What can I say? The Misibis Bay Wedding’s quite an experience and I am forever grateful to Jo Claravall for trusting us with her events.
